internal conflict

so yeah, this was a picture i did for art class. the topic was contrast and i used the hair and wings as contrasting colors as you can see. i originally finished this pic waay before the chiyo's dad pic but i didn't like the way i colored it before. it had more of a cel shaded look and i wanted to try to make it look a bit more realistic (i discovered the smudge tool AFTER i finished the first one which bugged me). doesn't matter though, i needed to turn something in by the due date and the previous one was ok but i like how this one turned out better. so i went back and redid the coloring for everything except the wings which i liked. also changed the eyes. she originally had them closed.
